ZEICHENSTURM / SIGNSTORM is a stage
performance in sign language.
The
piece includes live acts as well as documentary
film, music video, talk show on stage - with simultaneous translation
into spoken German and English and into written language.
The project is initiated by performance maker Michikazu Matsune,
conceptualized together with deaf performers Xiaoshu Alice Hu and
Paulina Sarbinowska and with filmmaker Mischa G. Hendel, joined by the
team.
